Friends, during these times in whatever reason and circumstance, it may occur that you, your family, or your friends may need the assistance, help, or pastoral care from an ordained minister. I am such a person and would like to offer my availability to officiate at weddings, funerals, and other important life events as well as provide counseling, a listening ear, and prayer. My ordination was in a Southern Baptist Church in 1978 and a have a M.Div. degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. I have a year’s formal training in pastoral care and counseling in chaplaincy at a major regional hospital. Due to a sudden and difficult life experience I did not pursue a professional ministry position and have been active in “evangelical” churches on a vounteer basis over the years. My wife, Linda, and I recently left our former mainline church congregation and are regular worshippers at two churches, a small Anglican congregation and a large charismatic congregation.
Please feel free to reach out to me by email or phone: tomterry7@pm.me and (404) 625-3014. Perhaps you have or a family member or friend has a need to have a conversation with a trusted minister about living with a positive outlook and hope for the future from a Christian perspective
Thank you for your interest in my irregular blog posts and blessings to you and yours.
Kind regards,
Tom
