The Mysteries of God and the Unmysteries of the WEF “Stakeholders”: A Short Essay on the Religion of the World Economic Forum and Something Greater is Still Here

All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,

I’ve been thinking a lot in the past couple of weeks about the WEF and how the muckety mucks of America have joined the other muckety mucks in most nations of the rest of the world excepting Russia and its few allies (other than China) in aligning with the radical, globalist agenda of the Geneva-based World Economic Forum. (Chinese President Xi Jinping opened the 2022 WEF annual meeting - here.) (So you know, I use “WEF” as the convenient  moniker for the Klaus Schwab-led organization, its executives, “stakeholders,” all the ancillary organizations and their leaders, and all the collaborating multinational corporations and national organizations that constitute and “run” the globalized world-system.)    

My focus here is on the WEF as the generator if not the institution of the not yet fully manifested new global religion. Biblical Christians look to the Scriptures to anticipate and discern through known or trusted observations how to interpret the WEF and its agenda from a Biblical worldview coupled with literal readings of the Scriptures. And just what is a Biblical worldview? This website offers a definition of a worldview, the distinction between different kinds of worldviews, and a chronological list of worldviews in American history. George Barna’s 2022 study reports that only about 1 in 3 (37%) American Christian pastors have a Biblical worldview. (Caution: If one’s pastor is among the 63% who don’t have a Biblical worldview, s/he may need to face perhaps a most important decision: “how seriously must I  take Jesus’ warning in Matthew 10:34-39.”)

A Christian website with a Biblical worldview offers a short outline of the prophesied one world religion in Revelation 17:1-18. The John McArthur-told story of how the U.S. Secret Service and other similar agencies in other nations trains its counterfeit specialists was found by this blogger to be accurate: they study the official currency in order to identify the fake; their trained observations of the authentic enables them to spot the inauthentic, the false. This is a lesson in how to read the Revelation 17 passage when contemplating the appearance of the WEF. Some of the flaws that appear inconsistent and false stand out when reading the passage and observing the new cabal of the CEOs of international corporate businesses, behemoth financial fund managers, governmental officials, military and intelligence agencies, not-for-profit international and well-endowed foundations and NGOs (non-governmental organizations), international political and human health and rights organizations such as the UN and the WHO, academics from the world’s leading universities and privately funded research centers, essentially unaccountable labs devising new and ever more radical technologies of intrusion into humanity under the auspices of the national security state, and on and on. These few observations of the WEF in the context of Revelation 17 may bring the complexities down to the level in which to more clearly see that which is good and that which is evil…

·       The global false religion will have a global dominance over all peoples, nations, and language speakers, all brought into a partially imposed and partially sought for global solidarity connecting global humanity by the bewitching of a very enticing ”great harlot.” The specificities of the great harlotry is not given in the Biblical passage but Biblical Christians understand what prostitution and harlotry means in the Bible: it is the enticements of the world that draw one away from real love, real family, real community, and real salvation from the God Who loves and cherishes His own. The lack of specificity  also reminds that the what’s left unsaid and ambiguous in Scriptures is purposeful: the Lord intends that His beloved who know His voice and always live by faith in Him, His leading, His provision, and His power in the midst of the challenges the world throws at them. So though the harlotry includes not just a false spirituality in opposition to Christ Jesus, …other enticements of the antichrist entity are also employed in every aspect of life on earth - they are just as much ‘in play.’ That is, the dominance of the great harlotry will not just be manifested in “spiritual” or “religious” terms and understandings, but in every aspect of life on earth. (A distinction between “spirituality” and “religion”  can be found in this research by Barna.)

·       One manifestation of the prophesied universal or global “spiritual” and  “religious” dominance of the antichrist entity will mean that its authority will extend and be felt in all the different institutions that hold authority by virtue of their respective collaborations and compliance with it throughout the world-system. This in itself is more than uncanny… it is seemingly miraculous! How and when have the nations, their governments, independent peoples and their national not to mention religious institutions throughout the world joined together in a global solidarity? I would make a WAG and say, “NEVER!”  It does appear by ‘common sense’ observation that there are few if any organizations that are on the record in opposition to the WEF snowball… the further it rolls down through the nations and their governments and public-private organizations and institutions the larger it gathers the world into its agenda!

·       The ‘drunken condition’ of the global religion’s disciples refers undoubtedly to what will be a widely-shared, antichrist, atheistic belief system. That belief system will be overwhelmingly convincing for it claims that it has an answer to every problem facing global humanity. See here and the “WEF wheel” below…

That belief system will be a condition of drunkenness… a condition due to a fully imbibed, strong fermentation of various ideologies; financial strategies; human rights and global health initiatives through ‘vaccines’-and-injection boosters-for-life-for-all-without-cost; imaginative ideas for economic prosperity for all, dramatic but technologically-assured security to solve threatening climate change, scarcity of food, polluted water and air, and the dreaded Malthusian gospel over-population. (This essay argues for the benefits of a ‘no-growth’ policy… how would it comport with the drunkenness of the global religion and the WEF?)  

The drunkenness of the global belief system can be made meaningful by considering the case of a drunken fellow with whom one has to deal. The reality of the drunken one  enveloped in his drunken stupor is not entirely accurate. The stupor causes an unreality in the sense that the drunkard is not able to get an accurate “fix” on what’s really happening - the truly ‘normal’ dynamic which not only includes but is better held by the family or the drunkard’s loved ones’ perception created by the group’s mutual perception and mutual love of the drunkard. It seems as if the young are most equipped to best see the potential tragedy when they come upon a drunkard: they know instinctively that the drunken stupor has robbed the individual of his true nobility, her true dignity, the self that is truly loved and who is able-to-love-in-return. The drunkard in his stuporous condition has lost this shared perception and the opportunity to participate in sharing the mutuality of that which truly makes being a human worth the struggles, deprivations, and indignities that come.

Hence, the fermented belief system offered by the priests of the false religion lead the unsuspecting or the foolish, and in this case with its ultimately high stakes, if one fails to be suspicious than s/he is indeed foolish …to receive and put themselves under the influence of the false religion, it is more potent than anyone can anticipate or find again the right heart and mind “fix” on reality and the love of others including that of the Great and Good Lover of men’s and women’s souls. The moral trespass which is part and participle of receiving and imbibing the authority of the WEF. Such imbibers of the global religion in their drunken stupor will fully ignore their eventual final awakening which awaits them.

In such a derangement the adherents of the global religion will be deceived to believe they and the world are on the cusp of a new, exciting “final solution,” at long last, to use the new technologies and wizardries of interconnectivity to be delivered by a special means of intoxication - scientism. The disciples of the priests of scientism are the sort of people you may initially be proud to have your adult daughter or son be dating or to be married as shown by the bios of the WEF Young Global Leaders here. Believers and followers of scientism don’t need to be scientists - certainly not ‘mad scientists’, but from the perspective of the Bible they will be villainous and more for their banality of evil. The WEF radical agenda presents a sure divide that exists in societies across the globe down to the level of individuals and families as well as church congregations. What is the antidote? How the specific religious essentials of such a global religion will come to be manifested, as the Lord tarries, no one can precisely predict. But Biblical Christians will find hope and discernment through the Holy Scriptures and there they will seek and find hope and strength. As “holy” means ‘set apart,” those who have been called have been “set apart” as redeemed followers, brothers and sisters of Christ Jesus. Integral to being set apart is being born from above (gennao anothen in John 3:3) and receiving their intimate relationship to the Triune God. For those ‘birthed from above,’ their intimate relationship with the three Persons of the Trinity is the fulfillment of the Creator’s intention for being human. And being human in Christ is the fulfillment of the imago Dei wherein the Creator’s ordained unique relationship with each individual comes to life and finds complete fulfillment.  

Perhaps one of if not the chief means to the realization of the intimate relationship to Christ Jesus as the imago Dei is the necessity of the steadfast reliance developed from disciplining our minds and hearts in the Holy Spirit. Such disciplining brings both elucidation (bring clarity) and illumination (bring into the light of Christ Jesus) in “seeing with eyes to see” in best navigating the world. The apostles had the same need for such reliance. Ephesians 3:16-21 points to this crucial and unique intimacy of the believer to the Triune God through the transformed and disciplined heart and mind of the redeemed in Christ - …According to the riches of his glory may He grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

These following verses will remind and encourage followers of the crucial and unique intimate relationship of the Holy Spirit:  

Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and my mind. Psalm 26:2

Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” Jeremiah 17:9-10

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart. Proverbs 21:2

Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered. Proverbs 28:26

 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds.” Hebrews 10:16

This disciplining is different from the that which global humanity has endured since WW2 and which now has produced the WEF and its global religion. Make no mistake that the capturing of hearts and minds is every bit as relevant to the WEF. In contrast to the Gospel of God and its promised Kingdom made sure by an intimate relationship with the sovereign Triune God, the WEF presents a sovereign authority that has emerged into an ingenious and majestic technological opportunity, so the false priests would proclaim. To finish this post at this ‘mid-point’ of an extended essay, the rise of the WEF has this historical legacy:  

·       From (i) the Divine Right of kings (monarchies), to…

·       (ii) democracy of, for, and by the people, to…

·       (iii) the rise of secularism and corresponding weakened authority of Christian values, to..

·       (iv) the influence of financial interests of the industrialists and robber barons, to…

·       (v) the beginnings of the imperial presidency and the rise of the welfare state (and here) to…

·       (vi) the rise of the national security state and its various extensions into unaccountable agencies, to…

·       (vii) the rise of the global multinational corporations (MNCs) (and here), to…

·       (viii) the rise of the military-industrial-academic-biological-etc. complexes headquartered at the Pentagon and Langley, to…

·       (ix) the rise of neoliberalism and global finance, and public-private partnerships, to…

·       (x) corporatism and in its more imperialistic form as corporatocracy, and present governing preeminence of the very elite, very few of extreme wealth represented in the one organization of the WEF.
